HEAR FROM ONE OF OUR PARTICIPANTS

“The opportunity to join this programme came at just the right time. I was feeling very discouraged, and thought that I just couldn’t get any fitter or slimmer as I got that bit older. Joining the sessions in person has been so productive and valuable. The input sessions gave lots of useful information and tips to help improve overall wellbeing. We were reminded of the little things we can do to make progress. I connected with a few other attendees on the programme, and we started our own WhatsApp group – encouraging each other and making each other accountable along the way – especially on the days when we didn’t feel like exercising. To top it off, free access to the Leisure Centre facilities for the duration of the programme gave us the opportunity to try lots of new activities. I love the variety of classes on offer and have met lots of lovely people too!!! I feel optimistic that I can continue to improve my health and fitness going forward – the programme has really worked for me.”
