NEW CHECK-IN & CANCELLATION SYSTEM FOR FITNESS CLASSES
We are excited to announce a new check-in and cancellation system designed to ensure fair and equal access to our fitness classes
Starting on Monday, 4th August, all customers attending fitness classes, including Aquafit, will need to scan their membership card or App-based QR code when arriving for a class. Customers who do not check in for their pre-booked class will receive a £2 pending charge on their customer account, which will need to be paid to enable future classes to be pre-booked.
To avoid customers booking classes and not attending, we are also now introducing a cancellation window. Anyone unable to attend a class should cancel more than 2 hours before the class start time, which releases the space for another customer to book.Ā Cancelling a class booking less than 2 hours before the class start time will be subject to the non-attendance charge.
Class check-in and cancellations will begin on Monday 4th August, but to give everyone time to get used to the new system, the £2 charge will not start until 1st September.

HOW TO SCAN IN
Checking in is easy: just head to the red ‘SCAN HERE’ point in reception and hold your Active Card (bar code facing up) or Membership QR code on your mobile under the white scanner box until you hear a ābeepā, then head to your class!

Customers can use the bar code on their Active Card or Membership QR code on the booking App to scan-in.

No, the scanner will register your attendance for any classes you have booked over the next 4 hours.
Please be aware that from the 1st September, a £2 pending charge on your account will be incurred if you forget to scan your Active Card or membership QR code, as our system will not recognise your attendance.
Go into āMy Bookingsā.Ā Find the class you wish to cancel and select the āCancelā button.Ā The system will ask you to confirm your cancellation.Ā Please select āYesā.
Any late cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled start time of the class will still incur a £2 pending charge on your account.
If you are unable to attend a pre-booked class, we recommend cancelling as early as possible to avoid a charge and allow others to book the slot.
The chargeĀ can be paid by going into your Online Booking Account and selecting the āMy Debtsā area and following the prompts.Ā Our customer services team can also help process payments on your next visit.Ā Once the charge is cleared, the booking function will be restored.
If a class is cancelled, your account will remain free from any charges.
Thereās no need to scan in as the system will automatically record your attendance when you pay for your class.
Yes, you will need to scan in when attending your fitness class so we can register class attendance levels.
