Our Fitness programme includes Les Mills classes, calming yoga, (HIIT) high-intensity interval training, and pool-based fitness.
Each Centre offers a different programme and range of classes.

PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO SCAN IN!
Checking in is easy: just head to the red âSCAN HEREâ point in reception and hold your Active Card (bar code facing up) or Membership QR code on your mobile under the white scanner box until you hear a âbeepâ, then head to your class!
Customers who do not check in for their pre-booked class will receive a ÂŁ2 pending charge on their customer account, which will need to be paid to enable future classes to be pre-booked. (Click here to read more about scanning in and pending charges.)

MOTIVATING BLEND OF YOGA WITH TAI CHI AND PILATES
If you havenât tried yoga before then BODYBALANCE is a great introduction. If youâre already doing some form of yoga youâll love the variety you get with BODYBALANCE

The Class
During BODYBALANCE an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. Just Getting Started?
You can adjust a BODYCOMBAT workout to suit. Our instructors always show options to work at your own level. Start with 1-2 classes a week and discover your warrior fitness in no time at all.
The Class
Step into a BODYCOMBAT workout and youâll punch and kick your way to fitness, burning up to 560 calories along the way. This high-energy martial-arts inspired workout is totally non-contact and there are no complex moves to master. A LES MILLS⢠instructor will challenge you to up the intensity and motivate you to make the most of every round. Youâll release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.

Get lifting with BODYPUMP and youâll tone and shape your entire body, without adding bulky muscles.

The Science of Bodypump

The Class
BODYPUMP⢠is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit â fast.
Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 540 calories. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music â helping you achieve much more than on your own! Youâll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

Just Getting Started?
Your instructor will show you how to set up your bike and all the basic cycling moves. You can start off with 4 or 5 tracks and work your way up to a full class.
The Class
RPM⢠is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. Itâs fun, low impact and you can burn up to 675 calories a session.
With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. In an RPM workout you repeatedly spin the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness.

Want to squeeze a workout in during the early hours before work?
Want to follow an instructor who is exercising at your pace?
Want to try a Fitness Class before going to an instructor-led class?
Whether you’re taking part in our virtual cycling class or taking part in a HIIT workout, here are 3 very good reasons why a virtual class may be perfect for you:
Reason 1
You get 3 Instructors per class! Each Instructor works at a different level, from beginner to intermediate and advance.
Just follow the instructor who is working out at your pace; you can choose to switch up or down a level during the session.
Reason 2
Virtual classes run during the early hours of the day enabling you to fit that workout in, have some âme-timeâ, all before the day gets fully underway.
Reason 3
Just like the instructor-led classes, our virtual classes also change their music and moves every 12 weeks.
Why?
Your body becomes used to the class and as result it learns to minimise energy expenditure meaning you donât get the most out of your session. Itâs also stimulating to listen to broader range of music rather than the same tracks.
Shake up your fitness routine with a workout in the water
You do not have to be a strong swimmer to exercise in the water. So donât let your land based workouts plateau; add a bit of variety to your weekly workout.
Aquafit

A great social, and all-over workout to music without overheating! Aquafit helps build strength, burn body fat, improve cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility without the impact on your joints. Equipment supplied.
Swim to fitness

A set lane training session, with different lanes, for different levels. Coaches are on hand to help you improve stroke technique, stamina and swimming fitness. Equipment is required, and supplied for anyone who doesn’t have their own.
