Pool Guidelines and Prices
The following guidelines apply to everyone who uses Active Swimming Pools, and are there to help create a safe environment for customers and staff. Please follow these guidelines at all times:
- When visiting, please always follow NHS guidelines and DO NOT visit our Centres if you have any symptoms of coronavirus.
- Please do not swim if you have had diarrhoea in the past 2 weeks.
- Please shower before entering the pool. Showering helps remove perspiration, body oils, cosmetics, and dirt.
- Avoid swallowing the pool water.
- All children up to the age of 3 must wear a swim nappy (available for sale in the centre).
- To use the deep end of the pool, ALL swimmers must be able to competently swim 50 metres (2 lengths) unaided.
- When Lane Swimming please ensure you select a lane that reflects your swimming ability (e.g. slow, medium or fast – there are signs at the end of the lanes to indicate the speed and direction). Please be mindful of others, follow the directional arrows and follow any staff instructions.
- Children aged 8 years+ and able to swim 100 metres+ (4 lengths) continuously can attend Lane Sessions.
