Coronavirus
WE'RE RE-OPENING!

We’ve been busy preparing for our re-opening on Monday 27th July! We are S0 EXCITED to be reopening our doors again; we can’t wait to see everyone.
As you can appreciate things will be very different, so we thought we’d give you a little insight into what’s been happening behind closed doors over the past months to ensure Covid secure measures are in place.
We want to reassure our customers that our aim is to create a safe environment for you and for our staff. As a non-profit distributing charity, our Centres operate for the benefit of everyone in the local community, and we can’t wait to see you all again.

MEMBERSHIPS
Please be reassured that if you are on a pre-paid membership, whether it’s for Health and Fitness or Swimming, your membership remains frozen, and no membership payments will be debited (unless you have kindly opted to be a price for life member and keep your payments active during lockdown). If you are an annual member, your membership will be extended to account for the closure period.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN OUR CENTRES REOPEN:

SAFETY FIRST
We have been working diligently with UK Active, Community Leisure UK, sports governing bodies, government and health authorities to ensure Covid secure measures are in place and we will continue to do so. We aim to create a safe environment for both our customers and staff.

YOU WILL NEED TO PRE-BOOK
ALL Sessions MUST be pre-booked in order to ensure there is safe and adequate space for you to participate in your chosen activity. This will include Gym and Swimming.

ARRIVE ON TIME, CHANGED & READY FOR YOUR ACTIVITY
THE SHOWERS AND CHANGING ROOMS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE
Please do not arrive early or late as we need to control the number of customers entering and exiting the Centre. Our staff will direct you to your activity to limit queuing where possible. Once your activity is complete, please leave the building promptly so we can clean the facility for the next session. Lockers will be available. Please:
-
Arrive dressed ready for your session.
-
Limit the number of personal belongings that you bring to the Centre and leave any valuable personal items at home.
-
Bring a pre-filled water bottle with you.

SANITISING STATIONS
Please use our Sanitising Stations and hand gels when you first arrive and during your visit.
We will also ask you to wipe down any equipment after use.

ENHANCED CLEANING REGIME
Our teams will be carrying out regular cleaning and disinfection regimes throughout the day, and between bookable sessions. We are also asking all customers to help us by cleaning each piece of equipment before and after their workout.

PERSPEX PROTECTIVE SHIELDS
We have installed plastic protective shields at reception desks.

SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES
Please maintain social distance (at least 6 feet apart). There is plenty of signage to guide you through the one way system and to remind you to keep a safe distance from staff and customers. Your exit will not be through the main entrance doors.

CASHLESS PAYMENTS
To help social distancing and to cut down possible contamination risks, cashless payments are now our preferred method of transaction; but with pre-booked sessions you should rarely need to approach the reception desk.
QUESTIONS?
We understand that you may have questions. Things will look a bit different when you come back, and we know that at this time you may have many questions, so we have put together some useful FAQ’s. We will be updating these as and when we have more information.

WE ASK ALL CUSTOMERS TO PLEASE, ALWAYS FOLLOW NHS GUIDELINES
Please do not visit our Centres if you have any symptoms of coronavirus, you’re waiting for a coronavirus test result, you’ve tested positive for coronavirus, or you live with someone / have come into contact with someone who has had symptoms.
